thanks for the cooking tips. i have not done the meat thing in over four years--i see lots of soy protein in my future.

i got a call today from a woman who took down all my necessary info and informed me that my date for "the procedure" is in 18 days. kinda surreal to know that i'll be in OR in less than 3 weeks.
