That is such great and wonderful news. How exciting that you may have your surgery by the end of this month.
Though honestly if you are having family over for Thanksgiving, they are going to notice that you don't eat at dinner :)
I didn't tell most of my family about my surgery until after it was a done deal. I didn't want to hear their opinions at all.
The decision to tell or not tell is definately up to you, but I can promise that people will definately notice that your habits change.
My date has changed to Nov 1st 7:30am
